Welcome to Sally Little League

Here is some information about the various divisions in our league:

Tee-Ball for ages 4 1/2 - 6 years old-this is an instructional team that teaches the kids the basic concepts of baseball. They hit the ball off of a "Tee" to help with hand/eye coordination. They are taught to catch and throw the ball.  Lastly they are given the opportunity to enjoy the game. Every parent that had a child in T-ball will tell you the joy and fun they had while watching this game.

Coach Pitch for ages 7 - 8 years old-this is a team that teaches core fundamentals while the coach pitches the ball to the player.  The player is taught in detail about his position in the infield or outfield as well as the rules that apply to various situations that may occur in the game.

B-Ball for ages 9-11 years old-this team is often referred to as the minor league. This team prepares the player for various situations that could occur in the game. This team teaches the player to think through each situation and react accordingly.  

A-Ball for ages 10-12 years old-this team is referred to as the major league. This team consists of players that have made it to what is considered "The Show." Everything the players have learned must be executed in a skillful manner. 

Jr. League for ages 13-14 years old- this team consists of players that have the opportunity to expand their knowledge of the game while adhering to new rules and strategies. The fields are larger, the bases are 30 ft longer and the pitching mound is 15 ft farther from home plate.  This knowledge and skill level will become catalyst for success in high school, college and even professional baseball.
